Project Summary

Artists and creative professionals often struggle with standard productivity apps. Most are rigid, text-heavy, and fixated on deadlines, which can drain inspiration instead of sparking it. ZenTasks approaches things differently, offering a visually-driven task management platform designed for creative minds. Users can capture ideas in any form, including sketches, voice notes, files, or drawings, while enjoying a calm, focused space that encourages creativity rather than pressure.

Role & Responsibilities

Product Designer (Visual and UI Lead)

Contributed as a product designer with a focus on visual and interface design, while collaborating with the team on UX research and early-stage planning:

• UX research collaboration, including user interviews and persona development
• Full ownership of UI design, including screens, custom icons, and the visual system
• High-fidelity prototyping and component library development in Figma

Challenge

Artists need structure without pressure. The goal was to create a tool that feels like a creative sanctuary rather than a traditional productivity app.
